The five of us have come together through a circle of friends that stretches all the way to India, to our friend and co-founder Sidhanth, who lived in Barcelona and Berlin to study, where we met him.

After his studies, Sidhanth spent several weeks travelling in India and arrived after a few stops at the Himalayan Mountains. There he also visited the famous tea gardens and rediscovered his love for tea.

At the tea garden, he met a tea garden staff called Bodhi. Sidhanth immediately sensed the calm and serene atmosphere and was overwhelmed by the positive vibe that stretched across the entire tea garden and the staff.

Bodhi also shared that during working shifts he always makes sure that all the staff get together once a day and drink tea. Today, the most important ritual of all staff in the tea garden.

Delighted and inspired at the same time, Sidhanth shared his experience with us in Germany.

Since Sidhanth has become more engaged with the topic of tea, we also had a chance to learn more about it. So much that we took a closer look at what the tea market has to offer.

Since we weren’t convinced by the results, we decided to source tea ourselves directly from the tea garden. Without any middlemen. Without any pesticides. But ethically produced in a fair manner. So that we can enjoy the important breaks with a good feeling and without a guilty conscience.

And so today we have made it our new mission to do good and to positively influence our fellow human beings. Both our friends and family, but also our suppliers and especially our employees in India.

After all, the change starts with ourselves, perhaps over a cup of tea…
